Air travel with an infant can be tricky. And more so if you’re taking a flight where you do not have option to get into a private space if the baby starts crying or demands to be fed. Many breastfeeding mothers find it extremely difficult to travel with their infants and have nightmares just thinking about it.
What many do not realise is, that every first with an infant or toddler is scary. We do not know how they are going to react to it. The only thing we can do is PREPARE for the worst scenario and become tough !
My baby is 3 and a half months old now and I have taken 3 flights with her. One each month, the first when she was 24 days old. This is what I have learnt and how I prepared for it. Below are some choices you need to make and things you need to consider to make your journey comfortable.
