Ingredients
- 500 gms double minced meat Mince it twice to make the texture softer and smoother.
- 3-4 slices fresh bread
- 1 no onion finely chopped
- 2/3 cup milk
- 2 no eggs
- 2 tbsps tomato sauce
- 1/2 kg boiled potatoes if making mashed potatoes to go with it
- assorted boiled vegetables sliced and diced
- to taste salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper powder
- 1 tbsp mixed herbs
- 3 boiled eggs

Instructions
- Brush the inside of a loaf tin with melted butter.
- Crumble the bread into a bowl and pour milk over it. Set it aside for 10 minutes.
- With a potato masher, blend the mince into the milk bread mixture.
- Add beaten eggs, tomato sauce and the seasoning (salt, pepper and mixed herbs) along with the chopped onions and mix well.
- Bake in the greased loaf tin (uncovered) for an hour till done.
- Unmould onto a flat dish. If there is some liquid in the loaf tin, let it stand and it will be absorbed. Do not throw as the liquid will have a lot of flavour.
- Serve !
Recipe Notes
To make things even more interesting, You can bake the mixture in a muffin tin, boil and mash 1/2 kg potatoes and blend 2 tbsp butter in them and pipe over the meat loaf. Serve garnished with lightly boiled vegetables and boiled egg rings.
